"A whimsical look at the world of Mother Goose. Little Miss Muffet, cute as a button, is tired of the same old, same old. Looking to escape the drudgery of her life, she seeks excitement in other rhymes....Witty prose and updated interpretations are complemented by Williamson's exuberant illustrations. Colofrul, comical, and energetic, the characters race through the pages to the story's end." - School Library Journal

Just as zany as Conway’s fairy tale book, children will recognize familiar characters like the mouse in Hickory, Dickory, Dock, the king from Sing A Song of Sixpence, and The Queen of Hearts who made some tarts. With the unusual antics in this book, giggles are bound to erupt. Williamson’s artwork is superb in this book. I hope we see more collaborations between these two artists.
