This book is so cute! There are several different bugs featured along with their "sounds" of movement. My son can basically "read" this because all it says is , "hello, bee" and on and on. At the end it says "good-bye" to the butterfly. Also, the pictures are dark with shiny colors that catch little brains. This is perfect for babies and great for pre-reading with toddlers.

We received Hello, Animals! as a gift and liked it so much we went out and bought it's sequel, Hello, Bugs!
The illustrations are cute and the text is simple. Each page says "Hello, (bug)!" and includes a couple words/sounds that relate to that particular bug. The black and white illustrations include a pop of shiny color for a little added interest.
The pages on these board books are very thick which makes them great for young babies. They don't bend the way some board books do, and it's easy even for little fingers to flip through them.
My son pulls these books out to read all the time. It's no wonder one of his first words was "hello!"

My nine-month-old son LOVES "Hello Bugs!" He touches the metallic bugs on every page and giggles. This is one board book I look forward to, because the sounds that the bugs make are so much fun to read. Thanks Tiger Tales for helping me instill in my son a passion for literature!
