About Holly Surplice
Holly Surplice studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and her first picture book was published in 2006. Since then, she has created a number of picture books, including the tiger tales book About a Bear. Holly lives in Edinburgh with her husband, their young daughter, and a Dalmatian called Marbles, all of which provide constant inspiration for her work.

Kelly Ramsdell Fineman is an award-winning poet and author of the tiger tales book At the Boardwalk. When she's not reading or writing, Kelly practices tai chi. She really likes to travel but she also likes spending time at home in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with her family and the world's clumsiest cat.

Mónica Armiño graduated with a degree in Fine Arts with extensive knowledge in both digital and traditional techniques. She is able to draw in many different styles and loves to experiment. About Alan Durant
Alan Durant went to Keble College, Oxford, to study English. It was there that he met his wife Jinny. They lived in Paris for a couple of years where he worked in a school of spontaneous expression. Alan is now a full-time author with three children, otherwise known as his “guinea pigs” because I try out all my stories on them.
About Ross Collins
Ross Collins graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 1994. In the same year, he won the MacMillan Children's Book Prize, an achievement that presented him with many opportunities. Longing for the cold and damp of the North, Ross returned to Glasgow, where he spends his time writing and illustrating children's booksdoing animation character development.
