tiger tales is an independent children's book publisher of quality picture books, board books, and novelty formats. We seek universal stories that speak directly to the youngest of children—ages seven and under—with simple language, engaging characters, or humor. MANUSCRIPT GUIDELINES:
Send a copy of your complete manuscript, typed and double spaced.
Include a brief cover letter with a phone number and email address where we may contact you if interested in your work.
There is no need to send art. Illustrators should submit art samples separately. Do not send original art! We do not return art samples and cannot take responsibility for material lost in the mail.
Manuscripts will not be returned.
Please be patient as we consider your work. We will respond within 24 weeks.

DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL ART OR YOUR ONLY COPY OF ANYTHING. We are not responsible for loss or damage of art, nor will we return it.
Postcards, tear-sheets, or copies of original illustrations should be sent instead. You may provide a link to an online portfolio. If we are interested, we will keep your samples on file to be considered for future projects.
We do not accept CD-ROM submissions.
