Her grandparents ran an art club, where as well as painting with the members, Georgie and her sister would be portrait models with the challenge of keeping still and extra challenge of not getting the giggles!

Ann Bonwill grew up in Maryland, surronded by books. She began writing as soon as she could hold a crayon. In Kindergarten, she was sent to the pricipal's office. She thought she was in trouble, but the principal just wanted to read one of her stories. Ann lives in Virginia with her husband, son, and a crazy Welsh corgi named Arthur.

Victoria Roberts had terrible asthma as a child and wasn't allowed to have pets—so she made up her own! As the youngest of seven lively girls, she spent much of her childhood in make-believe worlds. A former primary school teacher, Victoria still works with children on drama and dance projects.

Deborah Allwright is the illustrator of The Best Pet Ever, The Fox in the Dark, and Hello! Is This Grandma? She has loved drawing since childhood. Her grandfather used to visit paper mills for his job, and he'd bring her home long, narrow strips of paper. As a result, Deborah drew lots of giraffes and snakes.

Liz is the author-illustrator of the tiger tales book The Three Horrid Little Pigs. Before writing and illustrating children's books, she worked in the music industry where she created record and CD covers. Liz left to become a freelance writer and artist, and her work now appears on many different products all over the world.
