Kelly Ramsdell Fineman is an award-winning poet and author of the tiger tales book At the Boardwalk. When she's not reading or writing, Kelly practices tai chi. She really likes to travel but she also likes spending time at home in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with her family and the world's clumsiest cat.

Leigh Hodgkinson is the author-illustrator of the tiger tales picture books Boris and the Snoozebox and Boris and the Wrong Shadow. Like Boris, she enjoys the odd catnap. (Fact.) When Leigh is awake—and not daydreaming or swimming—she enjoys writing, doodling, and turning her stories into award-winning animated films and picture books. 

Ann Hodgman has authored more than forty children's books as well as several cookbooks and humor books and many magazine articles. Ann graduated from Harvard College, where she was a staff member on the Harvard Lampoon and the Harvard Advocate. Married to author David Owen, a staff writer for The New Yorker, and Ann has two children, and MANY pets.

Hiawyn Oram is a very successful author of children's books who has a large following worldwide. Born in South Africa, Hiawyn studied English and Drama there before moving to Britain to begin a career as an advertising copywriter. Currently, Hiawyn lives in Wandsworth, South London, and has two grown-up sons.

Paula Bowles grew up playing imaginary games and making up stories with her toys and anything that came to hand. She lives in Bristol, United Kingdom, and works from her home studio where she enjoys weaving stories and bringing characters to life, giving them energy, and a sense of fun. She likes visiting new places, playing the piano, and lindy hop dancing.

Mij Kelly had an extremely colorful and varied childhood house-hopping around the UK, not to mention skipping across to India as well. Mij has worked as a newspaper editor, an oral historian and now, a specialist journalist in artificial intelligence. Mij has two children.
